Answer as many or as few questions as desired. Please answer at LEAST one in your comments.

1. Describe 'Emily Rees', as a character, in one word.

2. Which do you prioritize? One-shots, continuity with 'lore' or original content?

3. If you could kill off a reoccurring character and/or idea from my works, which would it be and why?

4. Do you need to constantly have a web browser open in a tab to understand 'references' in my work? If so, how do you go about 'finding' context?

5. What type of 'source material' could inspire references you more readily know?

6. Are you into 'transformation' as the plot or as an element in a narrative? Believe me, there is a difference.

7. Recognizing that the 'visual element' is key to interaction with the audience, is it an ethical issue if I were to write 'captions' again while simultaneously running a group that explicitly has a policy against them? I wouldn't post the work to the group in compliance with the policy.

8. Is my work worthless?

9. Pro skub or anti skub? [This is only allowed if you answer one of the other questions]

10. What type of changes would improve your 'engagement' with my works and characters?

A series with continuity is great, assuming that you can keep it going for multiple parts, which definitely seems easier said than done.
I'd like to think I catch most of the references. At least, I don't feel the need to search as I read.
Source material such as anime/jrpgs are definitely ones I recognize.
I enjoy tf as the plot, more so than an element.
My view on captions is that the photo should 'add' to the work, and not be required to enjoy the caption. I do think your writing is strong enough to do this.
